Usain Bolt yesterday won his first race of 2011, and first race since losing to American rvial Tyson Gay. After a horrible start, Bolt overtook compatriot Asafa Powell near the end to win in 9.91. Powell finished second in 9.93. It’s amazing that someone can run 9.91 in the 100M and it be considered a disappointing run in today’s athletics. Of course, there are still some who have yet to break that 10-second mark who would LOVE to run 9.91 wind-aided.
We should expect great things this year, especially at the bi-annual World Championships in Athlethics (Track and Field) coming up in Daegu (Taegu) Metropolitan City, Seoul, Korea from August 27 to Sep 4 2011.
