We have observed that many many many Yawdies are using Facebook. They have also vented to me, the Admin, that they like the Yowlink look and idea but really really don’t like the idea of having 2 different accounts for 2 social-networking sites.
Well, we listened. As of February 2010, you can now use your Facebook account to log into YowLink.com as YowLink.com is a Facebook application. All you need to do if you have a Facebook account is to click the [F[acebook] Connect] button at the top right hand side of the screen and log in using your Facebook account.
“I’ve logged in, now what” you ask? Now you have unlocked all the features of the Yowlink.com site, including networking and creating a blog, writing posts, etc. Just click your name at the top right hand corner of the screen and you see all the things you can do. In fact, any time you want to get back to your own profile, wire, blog, groups, friend list, etc., you just need to click your name (either at the top right-hand corner of every screen or in the member section).
Well, someone that this was a great idea and immediately signed up. I won’t call the name since I know the person and they held out for 2 weeks while we worked on the feature and tested it.
