Jamaica wins anticlimactic 4-day cricket tournament

Jamaica defeated the Combined Colleges and Campuses (CCC) in the regional 4-day cricket tournament, cementing their dominance in the longer version of the match.

Batting first, CCC mad 112 all out.  Jamaica responded with 225 all out.  In the 2nd innings, CCC was dismissed for 122, giving Jamaica 9 runs to win.  Surprisingly, Jamaica lost 2 quick wickets but made 15-2 to win the match.  This was Jamaica’s 4th lien on the title.

Congratulations to both Jamaica and CCC.   CCC was appearing in their first finals.  The negative, however, is that both teams just could not bat the spin, a recent trouble in the West Indies.  The spinners claimed 23 of the 32 wickets lost, with 2 run outs.  Seamers only claimed 7 wickets.
