After being swept 2-0 in the Tests, Bangladesh introduced 4 first-timers into their ODI side and it yielded dividends. Bangladesh easily won the first match by 7 wickets with almost 10 overs to spare.
Batting first, the West Indies was easily dismissed for 199 from just under 47 overs, with Sunil Narine top-scoring with 36. That should say it all right there. The home side (Bangladesh) was in no trouble in response, easily making 201-3 in just over 40 overs.
The good thing is that the West Indies has 4 more ODI matches to redeem themselves, the next of which is tomorrow Sat night North American time.
