Panama, the thorn in the sides of the Reggae Boyz senior team, appears to have their number in the under 20 version, dominating the entire 2nd half and taking a 1-0 half time lead to a 4-0 trouncing of the younger Reggae Boyz. Both teams were on 3 points before the game, hoping to top the group and avoid Mexico.
The Mexicans later in the day defeated El Salvador 3-0 to cement their spot at the top of their group and will face Jamaica’s U-20 Reggae Boyz on Wednesday at 9:00 PM in one of 4 quarter-finals. Panama now faces El Salvador.
The winners of each quarters will book their ticket to the Under-20 World Cup.
