Kingston College (KC) defeated first-time finalists Campion to take their eleventh (11th) lien on the title. The score was 27-25, a lot closer than many expected.
Congratulations to The College. That will help take some of the bad taste from the huge defeat at the hands of Calabar in this year’s Boys Champs Athletics at the National Stadium just last Saturday. Congratulations to Calabar for an excellent performance and also to Edwin Allen.
Also, congratulations to Campion in getting to the finals and performing well against KC. In fact, they had “a hand” on the trophy only to see their 27-21 lead elapse in the final seconds of the match.
